Helping Women in Midlothian, VA Afford the Healthcare They Deserve

Payment Information

We request that patients pay for services at the time they are rendered, unless we have made a contractual agreement otherwise with your insurance company. We ask patients to inform themselves on their insurance plan and what it does and does not cover. If we are not contracted with your insurance company, we can submit your claims for your convenience, but you are still required to make the necessary payments. If a co-pay is needed, we ask that you pay it at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, check, and CareCredit. It is essential that you bring a form of identification and your insurance card to your appointment, as we need these to file your insurance claims. Otherwise, we may have to reschedule.

Medications:

In the current medical environment, some of the medications we prescribe may not be covered by your insurance. After submitting your prescription to your pharmacy, your pharmacy should notify us if there is an issue with insurance coverage. We will submit a prior authorization by using the liaison website options. If the medication is denied, you, the patient, may be required to call your insurance or pharmacy to find out more details such as why the medication was denied, what is needed to have the medication covered, what codes may be required for the medication. The staff and providers at West Gynecology do our best to get the medications covered that we feel the patient needs and this may often require patient input as well. Thank you for being willing to work with us to provide the best care possible.
